The
splendid Galeries LaFayette
Another impressive project by Custom Electronics.
The Christmas lighting of the famous Galeries LaFayette
in Paris
is a project of which we are enormously proud, firstly because
of the importance of such an international setting as that
of the French capital, and secondly due to the vast scale
of the project which involved the use of over 30,000 coloured
lights mounted on wooden frames by a workforce
of over 20 people working 24 hours a day.

| The
variable intensity play of light was carefully studied and
programmed using 400 dimmers to render the building alive
and vibrant as it stands silhouetted against the Parisian
sky in all its splendour. |
